July Mini Page Swap

Hello Everyone,

I haven't posted in awhile because I've been busy with several projects. This one is a mini page swap hosted by Bona over at Keep On Scrappin. The mini uses the Graphic 45 Playtimes Past paper collection. I chose to do a girl's page using the Mary Mary, Quite Contrary paper. I had to use both sides of the paper, have a pocket with a tag on one side, and have a photo spot on a 4x4 page. The challenge was shimmer. On the photo page I have used the music side of the paper. I added bling, gold shimmer and gold acrylic around the edges. The blue and green flowers are Prima E-Line whites that I spray inked. There's some shine on them but you can't see it in these photos. The red flower I made myself by gathering red velvet corduroy ribbon and placing a stamped face on each. The back page uses the house as a pocket. There is a tag behind the house. and the house "explodes." I embossed in gold some music scales to mimic the music paper on the front.

There are several places to put small photos and a couple of small journaling spots. The paper had three paperdoll dresses which I cut out to use as tags. The green dress has my info on the back. There are two small tags in the pockets. I did have to resort to using a different line of paper for some of the spots and pockets. I used a K and Co. paper that I've had for quite some time.

These are the tags that I made. The priceless tag goes behind the house and the daisy tags go inside the house. They were edged and sprayed with gold.
I used Old Paper, Vintage Photo and Frayed Burlap DI to distress all the edges. I used stamps from Close to My Heart, Stampendous, Crafty Secrets and Stampin' Up. I can't wait to get my pages from the rest of the group.
I've also finished a mini for my friend Lisa. I can't show it yet because I'm waiting for her to get it first.
That's all for now. Thanks for the visit and happy scrappin.
Lela
