Just wanted to share a project I'm working on. I am putting together a birthday card for a friend of mine. This is the first half, a watercolor rose. Because I don't like to draw as much as paint, I started by stamping on watercolor paper with archival ink. I did a stamp-off with the black so that it wouldn't be so dark. The rose is Stipple Rose by Stampin' Up. Then I took out my Winsor -Newton watercolors and some brushes. Looking at the photo, I realize, I forgot the shadow. I'll add that later. I'll post the card when I finish.
I haven't used watercolors in awhile. Felt pretty good.
