Hello Everyone,
I spent my 4th making a set of ATCs. I have a post on a DisCo project with a set of pink wings on text paper and I was inspired to do something with the pink wings... now. So I created this ATC which started as a layer of text. I then added 3 washes of distress inks, Old Paper, Vintage Photo, and Fired Brick. Then I added a pretty dark layer of Fired Brick and Vintage Photo, then came a little gesso, and a spray of Memories Mists Mango Lemonade and more gesso. Then I stamped in Fired Brick on the background with a Tim Holtz text stamp from the Life's Possibilities set. Finally, my favorite part, I stamped pink acrylic wings by Tim Holtz. The sentiment is also from Life's Possibilities. It is stamped on book paper in Vintage Photo and glued on with matte gel medium.

The name of the set is Wings Series 1: Pink Lemonade. I wanted to swap with someone so I searched around and found The Stamp Man ATC Swaps. Can you believe it? The theme for July is "WINGS." How fortuitous. Check out the sidebar for a link. (Right click, please. I haven't figured out how to make it link without right clicking. If someone knows, please leave a comment.)

Thanks for the visit and happy creatin.
Lela
