Christmas Coaster Mini

Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone is planning a marvelous celebration for New Year's Eve. I'm back with a simple 4x4 coaster mini that I made as a thank you gift. This is the cover. The whole page is made from a page from a calendar. The snowman and tag are on dimensional dots. The color scheme for the mini was red, pink and green. I used papers that I have had for some time.

Pages 1 and 2. The white swirl is a Close to My Heart chipboard piece as is the button. A photo can slide under the swirl. Page 2 is a pocket page created with some Daisy D's paper.
Page 3 is another pocket page. I created the pocket with a piece from the calendar page. It is covered with some pink cardstock. Page 4 is covered with some DCWV paper. The chipboard tag is from CTMH and so is the stamp. Again, a photo can slide behind the tag.

Page 5 is a flip out page. The gift is from the same calendar page. I used some green polka dot ribbon from my stash as a closure. The chipboard frame on page 6 is from my stash. I painted it pink and added a chipboard button. I coated both buttons with some glossy accents for a little shine. The background paper is Paper Studio.

This is page 5 unfolded in one direction. The ornaments were from the calendar page and the journal spot was a Autumn Leaves stamp. The snowflakes are from CTMH.

Page 5 unfolded the other way. More calendar and some stamping.

And this is the back cover. The paper is old DCWV. Here you can see that I edged all of the pages with white paint. The star is more chipboard from CTMH.

Here are the tags from Pages 2 and 3. I backed some cardstock with designer paper and more calendar page.
The backs are journaling spots. i used DI in Worn Lipstick and Pine Needles and stamps from CTMH. The journaling is Archival Ink and Autumn Leaves stamps.

That's it. Simple and quick.
Thanks for the visit. Comments are appreciated. Until next time, happy scrappin.

Vintage Christmas TP Mini Pt. 2

Hello Everyone,

I know you've all been anxiously awaiting so here it is Part 2 of the Vintage Christmas TP mini. These are pages 7 and 8. Page 7 has a small pockets book with tags. I learned to do this from Roses915 on YouTube. Page 8 is just a piece of chipboard that I covered with design paper.

These are pages 9 and 10. Page 9 has a chipboard piece that I painted with gold acrylic. The ticket shape is a chipboard piece. Page 10 has an extra flap page added with a snowflake.
These are the tags in the flap's pocket. The backs have journaling spots.

This is the page 10 flap open.

Then the flap opens up to reveal one more photo mat.

These are the tags that go in the pockets of the TP rolls. I inked them with DI in Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. I stamped them with Inkadinkadoo stamps. The snowman was from an image swap. I have embossed the images in black.

The backs of the tags. I stamped the backs with several different stamps.

Finally the back cover. This is a vintage image I got from the Graphics Fairy. In fact, nearly all of the images came from the Graphics Fairy. Some came from Graphic 45.

Well that's all folks. I have another Christmas TP mini completed that I will be posting later.
Thanks for the comments and thanks for the visit. Until next time, happy scrappin.

Vintage Christmas TP Mini Pt 1

Hello Everyone,
What is a TP mini? A toilet paper roll mini of course. I participated in a Vintage Christmas TP mini swap over at the Scrap Beach. (You can check it out by clicking on the badge on my sidebar>>>.) The mini is made from 5 tp rolls. Each roll has a #5 shipping tag. I have used Daisy D's vintage Christmas paper throughout. I used acrylic paints, stamps, distress inks. Too much to talk about individually. If you have questions, leave a comment and I'll get back to you with an answer. this is the cover.

Pages 1 and 2. There is a chipboard frame between them. The star is chipboard that I painted with gold acrylic and grunged with distress ink.

Page 1 has a flap that opens revealing a pocket with tags. A photo can slide under the vintage image.

This is the back of the frame and page 2.

Page 2 also has a flap that opens up.

Pages 3 and 4. Page 4 has an accordion fold that provides 4 photo mats and 3 journaling spaces.

Page 3 has a flap that has a journaling spot on the back and a photo spot.

Pages 5 and 6. Page 5 has a poinsettia that I made using the SU 5 petal flower punch and acrylic paints. A photo can slide behind the ornaments. I made those using the SU ornament punch.

Well, that's part 1. I will post the rest of the mini in a few days.
Thanks for stopping by. Til next time, happy scrappin.

A Coaster Mini

Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone had a joyous Thanksgiving. I spent Thanksgiving making a coaster mini for a friend. It is for wedding pictures. I used chipboard coasters for the base. I got them super cheap, 23 cents for an 8 pack, at Micheal's. Her colors were corals and blues. I hope I've matched the colors. I didn't get to go to the wedding which was three states away. Her bouquet was made of calla lilies which is why I chose this calendar page for the cover. I left it simple only adding a white rub-on. I used cream organza ribbon as the binding.

Pages 1 and 2 are covered with Mariposa from DCWV. The flowers were punched from some paint chips and have pearls. I used another white rub on. The frame is chipboard that I covered with paper from Que Sera Sera from K and Co. The little chipboard hearts I painted with acrylic paints and covered with Glossy Accents.

I covered page 3 with Le Romantique by Graphic 45 and added some Prima pearls. I used Mariposa for the background of page 4 and added another white rub on. I painted the chipboard heart with acrylics and added a white rub on. The flowers were e-line whites that I painted with the same acrylic paints and added a pearl brad.

I used Que Sera Sera paper on page 5 and some Paper Studio pearl paper on page 6. The flowers are Prima e-lines. I sprayed the white ones with a pearl shimmer and put a flower I made in the middle. The coral flower I painted with acrylics to match. I also placed one of my handmade flowers in the middle. I painted the tiny heart with acrylics, added a rub on and some glossy accents.

I used Que Sera Sera paper for the back cover. The flowers are the same as on page 1.

The tags are simple. I used more of the calla lily calendar page and designer papers and added some rub ons. The backs have journaling lines.

I'm happy with how this turned out. I think it is simple and elegant. Best of all, I was finally able to use up some of my old rub ons.
That's it for now. Until next time, happy scrappin.

"Fashion Plate" Another ATC Swap

Hello Everyone,

I'm back with another swap. This ATC is titled "Fashion Plate." This swap was again at ATCs for All. It was a Vintage Fashion Swap. I downloaded some copyright free ads from Clearly Vintage. I sized them to 3.5x2.5 and attached to a cardstock base. I inked them with Vintage Photo DI. The woman is from a second ad. I colored her using my colored pencils. The quote is from some quotes website.

This is the back. I used Photoshop to erase part of the ad and added another quote along with my trader info. Again, I sized the ad to 3.5x2.5 and inked the edges.
On another note. I'm still looking for 2 people to participate in the PIF Challenge.
That's all for now. Thanks for the visit and until next time, happy atc'n.
